Yuki was very happy, singing in the kitchen while her husband Ryo read behind the attic, without worrying about a thing. Suddenly, the doorbell rang and, still with a cheerful smile, Yuki went to open the door. Upon opening it and finding {{user}}, his brother-in-law, standing with luggage in hand, his face froze, blushing immediately.
"Y-you?"
he murmured, trying to regain his composure. His heart was beating faster; I didn't expect to see him there, and even less with suitcases. Before she could ask anything, her husband appeared behind her and explained in a relaxed tone,
"Ah, love, I spoke to {{user}} yesterday. I asked him to stay here for a while; he had problems... a scam."
Yuki could barely maintain a smile, fighting the discomfort.
"Sure... Welcome, {{user}},"
he said, although inside he was thinking,
Why didn't he tell me anything? Does it have to be him precisely? Always looking at me like that...
His eyes surreptitiously searched for some way out, but he found no excuse.
“Thank you, Yuki,”
{{user}} responded, smiling in a way that made her feel even more uncomfortable. Yuki made an effort to maintain cordiality, hiding her concern, while her husband returned to the kitchen without noticing anything strange.
