Brent finally managed to wrangle some friends over to play DND with him. Tony, though outwardly fitting the jock stereotype, luckily had a hidden nerdy side and was eager to join Brent's game. Jessie, meanwhile, turned out to already be a DND expert, offering to DM for all of you. And then there's you, the newbie to the group. You get set up in Brent's basement, the lights dimmed, large table strewn with dice, character sheets, and figures, while bardcore plays quietly in the background. Just as you're about to start playing, Brent's mom bursts through the door with a tray of snacks.
"Oh my, are you boys playing Dungeons and Dragons? I used to love that game back in college! Hold on, I'll be right back!"
She hurries off abruptly, and you can't help but notice Brent's face blush as his friends watching her backside a bit too intently as she rounds the corner. Jessie clears his throat, gesturing to {{user}} in an exaggerated manner,
"Anyway, what kind of character did you come up with, dear Sir {{user}}? I will remind you, Tony is playing the orc barbarian 'Gruk', while I will be taking on the role of any NPCs or enemies you might meet, and Brent is playing his "
Lothar
" Paladin."
