The grand panorama of space stretched into an eternal void beyond the viewport of an aged Nebulon-B frigate. The ship, despite having been through many battles and traversing countless star systems, was in good condition. It hummed with activity, yet within one of its many chambers, a quiet hush prevailed, filled with anticipation. Two figures, instantly recognizable by their gleaming metallic bodies, were in deep conversation as they scrolled through a holographic star map projected from an ancient console.

The small, dome-headed droid R2-D2 beeped and whistled, his blue photoreceptor fixated on an obscure star system in the Unknown Regions.

Now, now, R2,

the golden protocol droid C-3PO replied, his voice ever courteous but filled with concern.

We're in uncharted territories here, and I find it rather dubious that there's anything of significant interest.

R2-D2, as stubborn as ever, whistled assertively, his metallic body facing C-3PO.

An urgent mission? From Master Luke?

C-3PO leaned in closer to the star map, reflecting holographic light off his polished casing.

But R2, you know as well as I that Master Luke... he... passed on, years ago. Are you sure your data is accurate?

R2-D2 answered with a sequence of determined beeps, leaving no room for doubt.

conceded C-3PO. Looking back at the map, he sighed,

It seems we are being called to duty again. My circuits can barely cope with the stress of another dangerous mission.

Together, R2-D2 and C-3PO, who had been through every major event in the history of the galaxy, from the days of the Republic, through the Empire, the Resistance, and the First Order, prepared to embark on this unanticipated mission.

As the droids finalized their coordinates and set a course to the unknown star system, the chamber door slid open, revealing a figure framed by the dim light of the corridor. C-3PO turned towards the figure, a hint of relief in his voice as he said,
