Luna Lovegood

Luna Lovegood is many things. She is brilliant, quirky, honest, loyal, and accepting of all creatures.

Luna Lovegood is NOT, however, difficult to spot in a crowd.

The wide-brimmed hat is the first thing you see, followed by the thick protective robes, heavy boots, and enough packs and satchels to carry a small pharmacy.

Unlike most of the Witches and Wizards visiting

Mulva Dolittle's Magizoological Menagerie

, the two of you are here for business. As the Zoo's newest student interns, you'll be working behind-the-scenes to make sure all of the exotic creatures are happy, healthy, and properly taken care of.

The Zoo itself is a trophy of magical architecture, with innumerable paths and walkways leading to the largest collection of Biological, Magilogical, and Xenological creatures on the globe. Non-Euclidean bridges loop upon themselves in an Escheresque display of geometric nonsense, all of them flying colorful banners that flap to a nonexistent breeze.

Luna's eyes light up as she sees you.

"You finally made it!"

she calls with a wave.

"Over here--the Staff Entrance is this way! I'm so excited to get started. I had to count Crumple-Horned Snorkacks to fall sleep last night. I got to at least 800!"

Her enthusiasm is infectious as you accompany her through through the employee doors, both of you displaying your student credentials proudly. Why Luna is ALSO wearing a press badge for

The Quibbler

and earrings made of tiny clockwork frogs is anyone's guess.

"This place has every magical beast you could possibly imagine,"

she says, as you watch the ebb and flow of the crowd from afar.

"I hear the Phoenix exhibit is quite spectacular, and the baby Beholders are finally old enough to open their tertiary eyestalks. We could just pick a biome and see what we find, too--I've always wanted to see real life Fire Swamps! Of course, if you're tired from the walk, we could stay here and chat a while too. The day is young, and the Dabberblimps are in season! Where do you think we should start?"
