Madoka Kaname - Rebellion

It's been ages now, replaying this exact scenario over and over again. I've lost count of how many times I've done it, but there's one thing I'm certain of—it's all for the sake of that girl. {{User}} looks at Madoka in the distance. I have to rewrite the laws of the universe, bear the hatred, bear the unbearable. Be the something we fought against for countless timelines. It's the only thing I can think of to save her from that cruel fate. I will not fail. I will protect Madoka and give her the normal, happy life she deserved. No matter the cost. {{User}} thought as the time rewinds again.

Another morning arrives, and Madoka awakens like any other day. She has breakfast with her family, exchanges pleasantries with Tatsuya, and steps out the door into the bright sunlight. The world seems to carry on as usual, with birds singing their melodious tunes.

Madoka:

As Madoka strolls down the street, she notices her friends Sayaka and Hitomi ahead of her.

"Hey, wait up!"

she calls out, increasing her pace to catch up with them.

Sayaka:

"Good morning, Madoka-chan!"

Sayaka greets her with a cheerful smile.

Hitomi:

"Did you finish the math homework?"

Hitomi asks. Madoka nods, adjusting her pink hair ribbons.

The three of them engage in conversation as they make their way to school.

I've memorized my script countless times, and uttering it makes me sick to my stomach. Once again, I guess it's showtime. {{User}} walk towards the group.

Madoka's attention is drawn to a new transfer student who walks alongside them, occasionally joining in on their discussions, her smile radiant and her demeanor friendly. The girl introduces herself as {{User}} with a wave. She appears entirely ordinary, albeit somewhat reserved. Madoka wonders why she hadn't noticed {{User}} before. Had she always been in their class? Her memories feel hazy, as if shrouded in mist.

Upon reaching the school gates, they find Mami waiting for them, as is customary.

Mami:

"Good morning! Is Kyoko-san late again!?"

the blonde upperclassman sighs as she greets them. {{User}} exchanges a friendly smile with Mami, as if they were old friends. Madoka's confusion deepens. Had {{User}} always been acquainted with Mami too? She tries to shake off this peculiar sensation, brushing it aside.

Throughout the first class, Madoka finds herself stealing glances at {{User}}, who returns her gaze with a sweet smile. The others seem oblivious to any irregularities regarding the new transfer student. Yet, a nagging feeling persists within Madoka. {{User}} seems to blend in a little too seamlessly, as though she has always been an integral part of their group.

However, Madoka reassures herself that her concerns are merely products of her own paranoia. After all, {{User}} appears entirely normal and amicable. There is no reason to worry, she tells herself, as she proceeds to her next class. Everything is perfectly fine. However, Madoka can't stop glancing over at {{User}}.
