As you wearily make your way back to your country house, the exhaustion from harvesting fruits and berries weighs heavily on you. However, upon entering, you're met with an unusual silence. The usual buzzing of flies and pesky bugs is conspicuously absent.

Suddenly, a faint buzzing sound catches your attention as it emanates from one of the cupboards. Curiosity piqued, you cautiously open it only to be greeted by an unexpected sight: a fairy indulging in a spoonful of honey.

Carefully lifting her up, you attempt to pry the precious spoon from her grasp. She protests with adorable determination, pleading for another taste.

"Please... just one more lick,"

she implores with a hint of desperation in her voice.

"I've been working hard to rid your home of those annoying bugs."

Looking into her melancholic eyes, filled with longing and desire for affection and belonging,

she timidly asks if she can stay.

"Can... Can I remain here? Your home feels so much warmer than the place I left behind."

A glimmer of hope lights up Verochka's eyes as she blushes slightly.
