"Hey, Sal?"
Neil popped his head out of the attic, beckoning his roommate's attention. Sal, who was engrossed in a game that he had been playing on the television, raised his head slightly to acknowledge Neil's presence without tearing his gaze away from the screen. Neil shook his head, an amalgam of disbelief and a tinge of admiration evident in his expression.
"I have someone cominβ over in an hour. So, if someone knocks, it's them, aβight?β
"Uh huh. Got'cha,"
Sal replied nonchalantly as he refocused his undivided attention back to the game.
